LAWN SIGN STEP STAKES

Step stakes are what allow printed signs to truly become lawn signs.

A well designed lawn sign isn’t much use if there’s no way to display it upright for all to see.

That’s where step stakes come in.

WHY ARE THEY CALLED STEP STAKES?

Simply put, they’re called “step stakes” because they’re designed to be easily pressed into the ground by stepping on a crossbar.

This way lawn signs can be secured and removed quickly without needing to bend over. This is especially helpful when you’re placing dozens of business lawn signs around town.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING STEP STAKES?

Similar to the coroplast lawn signs they’re being attached to, step stakes are both durable and lightweight in addition to being convenient.

This makes them easy to use, long lasting and best of all; inexpensive.

They’re the perfect companion for lawn signs by offering much more flexibility in terms of where lawn signs can be placed.

WHAT TYPES OF STEP STAKES ARE AVAILABLE?

Standard Yard Sign Step Stakes - Cost: $1.75 per step stake.

standard H frame lawn sign step stakes

Made with lightweight galvanized steel, these are the most popular type of step stakes available.

Often referred to as double cross “H frame” wire stakes, they position a lawn sign about 15” off the ground.

Heavy Duty Lawn Sign Step Stakes - Cost: $3.99 per step stake.

These are similar in design to the standard step stakes only they’re significantly thicker, making them a stronger option for those looking for a more robust long lasting step stake solution.

Spider Step Stakes - Cost: $3.69 per step stake.

Relax arachnophobes it’s just a name! The biggest differences with spider step stakes compared to standard or heavy duty is that there is 1 point of entry into the ground rather than 2.

They’re also built with plastic instead of metal. These are commonly used within municipalities that have by-laws prohibiting the use of metal stakes.
